Benefit caps have left families across the county with deep scarring after not being checked thoroughly by Austerity Hits Ltd based in Saxilby https://thelincolnshiresausage.com/2019/05/19/austerity-factory-to-open-at-saxilby/
A massive fail in the final inspection process of the benefit caps was to blame.
The caps left the factory un-fettled with very sharp edges, cutting families – who are entitled to the benefit caps – very deeply. Leaving many of them with scars which they may have to live with for the rest of their lives.
One angry single mother of five said, “These are the worst benefit caps I’ve ever been issued with, and it will take me a long time to recover. I may never be able to get a job now due to the psychology damaged caused. They couldn’t have come at a worse time as I was down to my last 50 gram baccy pouch and our Ches’ needs some new Nike’s for school.”
Austerity Hits Ltd has apologised to some of the families and compensated a few by offering zero hour contracts to at least one member of their family at their factory, which is based just outside Saxilby.
Local MP Edward Leigh told the Sausage, “This is a positive outcome, thanks to these cuts by Austerity Hits Ltd, we can get more people on to zero hour contracts. That is always great for the unemployment figures. It makes it look like we are actually doing something right and not whitewashing over the actual problem.”
When asked to explain what he meant, Mr Leigh refused to comment any further.
